Neville Chase

Wannabe Boatie

As our Technical Director, Neville’s career in the electrical industry began some 40 years ago in South Africa. He gained knowledge of electrical principles and process engineering from companies such as Sasol, AECI, Natref, Newcastle Steel, and various utility organizations. Neville transferred to Australia in 1983 to provide expertise overseeing projects including Snowy Mountains Hydro Electric Scheme, BHP, and Loy Yang A & B power stations. Between 1988 and 1994, Neville became involved in large projects for Woodside, Esso Australia, and ACI Glass for Elsag Bailey as Director, National Sales/Service and Business Development Executive. In 1994, Neville was approached by Merlin Gerin to establish an Australian subsidiary for their Power Protection Products. During the 10 years that followed, he was Managing Director, Company Secretary, Public Officer, and Quality Manager. In 2002, Neville and Kathryn established Chase Power.
